On behalf of a client based in Villeneuve (VD), in the canton of Vaud, active in the field, we are looking for a Mechanic to strengthen the technical team on site.

Responsibilities

• Assembly of mechanical sub-groups and mechanical and pneumatic modules
• Connection and installation of wiring on railway vehicles
• Assembly and adjustment of components on railway vehicles
• Commissioning and quality control

Profile

• Holder of a CFC as a polymechanic or CFC as an electromechanic with experience in mechanical assembly or CFC in general mechanics or CFC as a precision mechanic or training deemed equivalent in mechanics
• 3 years of professional experience in industrial mechanics, if possible in assembly
• Good understanding of assembly nomenclatures and reading plans
• Very good command of French (oral and written), German would be a plus
• Precise and quality work, ability to work in a team and independently
• Methodical, meticulous, precise and careful
• Motivated, energetic and positive
• Travel within Switzerland or abroad is to be expected
• Flexible, teamwork in the morning, afternoon or night shifts
