As a senior network engineer, you are responsible for the stable, secure and scalable operation of our ISP and data center networks, and you bring your knowledge to take architecture, automation and security to the next level. Here is what your work looks like: ## • Operation and development of networks (Core, WAN, Overlay, NSX) • Design, implementation and operation of firewall and security solutions (Barracuda) • Responsibility for DNS, load balancing and connectivity topics • Automation and documentation of network environments • Close collaboration with data center, cloud and security teams What you must bring: ## • Several years of experience in network or data center engineering • Deep knowledge in routing & switching, firewalls, VPN, VLAN and Overlay technologies • Experience with manufacturers such as Fortinet, Huawei, Aruba or Cisco • Skills in DNS solutions, load balancing or automation (e.g. Ansible, Terraform) • Ideally experience in data center network design or migrations • Knowledge of VMware NSX or cloud networks (Azure, AWS) is a plus • Independent work, structured mindset and strong implementation capacity What makes this position your dream job: ## • Technically demanding projects with a lot of design freedom • Collaboration with experienced engineers from various fields • Modern technologies, flat hierarchies and fast decision-making processes • Flexible and modern working conditions, nice benefits and possibilities for personal development
