What you can achieve with us ###

Together with a motivated team consisting of pedagogical specialists, you will intensively accompany students on the autism spectrum, with cognitive impairments, as well as with self-injurious and aggressive behavior in their daily school life. You will accompany the young people in a 1:1 setting and thus do not work within a fixed class group. Regular exchange and consultations within the class team are provided.

What you bring with you ###

We are looking for a motivated and empathetic personality with training in social pedagogy. Ideally, you have already been able to gain experience in dealing with people on the autism spectrum and with challenging and aggressive behaviors. You are characterized by an independent and reliable way of working and are very resilient physically and mentally. You enjoy making your contribution as part of a team. At the same time, you also enjoy working independently and sometimes on your own. You can engage with the challenges associated with accompanying the young people with the necessary professionalism and calm.

We are the Stiftung für blinde und sehbehinderte Kinder und Jugendliche Zollikofen - a private, politically and confessionally neutral organization with a non-profit objective. Our task is to promote and accompany people with special support needs from birth to young adulthood.
We offer additional services to parents, teachers of public regular schools and special primary schools, as well as to professionals. Our core competencies lie in the promotion and accompaniment of young people with visual impairment, blindness, multiple disabilities, or from the autism spectrum.
