This is your contribution

• Be responsible for the availability, stability, and security of the ICT systems that enable the operations of the F-35A
• Analyze more complex malfunctions down to the cause, resolve them within the framework of incident and problem management, and derive sustainable preventive measures
• Implement security requirements in operations such as system hardening, vulnerability and patch management, and participate in security audits and approvals
• Automate and further develop system operation configuration management, deployment and patch processes, as well as monitoring
• Lead technical coordination with manufacturers, suppliers, international program partners, and the Air Force teams
• Evaluate technical developments and change requests regarding impacts on operation, security, and norm compliance, and develop and introduce corresponding solutions

This makes you unique

• Bachelor in computer science or equivalent training, with several years of experience in operating complex ICT environments with high security requirements
• Sound experience in the administration of Windows server and application environments, including Active Directory, patch and release management, as well as troubleshooting down to the application level
• Very good knowledge of virtualization and disaster recovery (Hyper-V, VMware) as well as backup and restore concepts for physical and virtual systems
• In-depth knowledge in network administration and databases, as well as in the practical implementation of security requirements: firewalls, system hardening, vulnerability remediation
• Experience in the automation of operational tasks (e.g., PowerShell, configuration management) as well as in the analysis and further development of technical processes
• Independent, analytical way of working, as well as active knowledge of a second official language and good knowledge of technical English

In short

In the F-35A program, you maintain the ICT systems that make the use of the fighter jet possible in the first place. A task for which there are only a few specialists in Switzerland. As part of the Kommando Cyber, you work closely with the Air Force, the manufacturer, and international program partners in a classified environment. Your work directly affects the operational readiness of the Air Force and thus the security of Switzerland.

CompTIA Security+ and Network+ certifications are an advantage. Knowledge of military leadership and operational processes is also an advantage.
