Strategic Buyer (m/f/d)

• Responsible for the supply of the company with services and goods
• Ensuring that internal and external orders are provided on time
• Requesting investments and personnel changes
• Functional support for the procurement department of our subsidiary in Germany and the MIC procurement department
• Evaluation of new procurement markets, technologies, and suppliers
• Building and ensuring partnership-based supplier relationships (price, quality, deadline, flexibility, problem-solving)
• Continuous review of market prices and taking the necessary measures in case of deviations.
• Supplier assessment and development in cooperation with QM
• Direct support of key suppliers
• Developing basics for make or buy decisions
• Requesting and concluding framework agreements in consultation with the Head of Manufacturing and Maintenance
• Support and advice to Engineering on new projects regarding supplier selection and manufacturing technology
• Ensuring that INFOR data (especially purchase prices and costs for purchased parts) are continuously maintained
• Budgeting of material expenses
• Technical basic training, preferably in mechanics or electrical assembly
• Further training as a technical merchant, buyer, or business specialist
• Several years of professional experience in strategic procurement or planning in a highly regulated environment
• Proficient handling of ERP systems
• Good English skills in spoken and written form
• Understanding and enjoyment of the Lean philosophy
• Networked thinking, negotiation skills, and a confident appearance
• Varied tasks with products that are used worldwide
