CFST Safety Officer / STPS Specialist with fire protection safety officer certification or fire protection specialist diploma at 100% The Université de Neuchâtel is recruiting for a position as CFST Safety Officer / STPS Specialist with fire protection safety officer certification or fire protection specialist diploma at 100% to be filled within the Service des bâtiments, de l’environnement et de la sécurité (SBES), at the Bureau sécurité et environnement. Activities As a safety officer with certification in fire protection, you ensure the application of legal provisions regarding occupational health and safety (MSST directive) and you ensure the operational monitoring of the university's security, safety, and fire protection policy. You guarantee compliance with MSST and fire protection (AEAI) standards and requirements for the university's buildings and equipment and participate in transformation projects and construction site monitoring by coordinating external companies and performing post-construction handovers. You are also responsible for the organization and supervision of emergency evacuation exercises for the university buildings and ensure fire safety training for staff. You support the head of SBES in analyzing requests for event organization from members of the university community or external parties and you ensure the control of the follow-up of recommendations issued, particularly during events involving more than 300 people. Desired profile You are a recipient of CFST safety officer or STPS specialist training with a federal diploma or equivalent training that you have completed (or are ready to complete) with fire protection safety officer training or a fire protection specialist diploma. You have previously completed technical training in the field of construction or buildings. You are able to work autonomously and rigorously within a small team. You have good interpersonal and communication skills and master French, orally and in writing, while having good knowledge of English. An additional certification as a safety engineer or occupational safety expert can be an advantage.
