Around 450 employees produce reinforcing steel from steel scrap in Gerlafingen. Stahl Gerlafingen AG is the largest recycling operation in Switzerland. The sales markets for the products are in Switzerland and the European Union.

Tasks/Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting on production plants and operational equipment
• Corrective and preventive maintenance of electrical systems and installations
• Ensuring and improving the availability of the plants

Competencies

• Completed basic electrical training e.g., electrical installer, electronics technician, automation technician or adequate training
• Interest in control and plant technology
• Flexible, helpful and resilient
• Team player
• Independent and responsible way of working
• Professional experience in a similar function in an industrial environment is an advantage
