Your contribution

• Manage material and deliver it to the relevant departments
• Independently process orders, work assignments, and requests from our partners and customers
• Manage shipments and material receipts, as well as consumables, via SAP
• Collaborate on the replenishment and collection of military troops in French-speaking Switzerland
• Process and send work orders via SAP

What distinguishes you

• Federal Certificate of Capacity (AFC) as a logistics assistant or equivalent qualification
• Good IT knowledge, in particular SAP and MS Office
• Readiness for responsibility, flexibility, and stress resistance, given the irregular working hours
• Ability to work in a team and inclination toward interpersonal relations with colleagues and other contact persons
• Driving license categories B, C, CE (ideally with ADR/SDR authorization) and SUVA certificate for driving forklifts
• Good knowledge of at least two official languages

The Swiss Army Logistics Base (BLEs) is at the disposal of the troops. It provides all logistical services for the Swiss Army and, with its approximately 3500 employees and 12000 militia soldiers, manages the material, systems, and infrastructure of the Swiss Army. In the workshop or in the office, indoors or outdoors: the BLEs offers a wide range of jobs throughout Switzerland and for all tastes.

The Swiss Army employs over 9000 employees within the framework of four military professions and approximately 200 civil professions, in 110 locations throughout the national territory. Furthermore, it provides for new recruits, training apprentices in over 30 professions.
