YOUR AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY:

1. Operative Finance:

• Ongoing accounting: Full-scope examination, coding, and booking of all business and goods management transactions (inbound and outbound goods).
• Payment transactions & accounts payable: Independent management of accounts payable and timely processing of weekly payment runs.
• Closing reliability: Energetic support in the timely preparation of monthly and annual financial statements according to Swiss Code of Obligations (OR).
• Payroll & HR Administration: Reliable management of payroll accounting (recording, payment, settlements with social insurance and authorities).
• Taxes & VAT: Independent preparation of VAT returns as well as ensuring correct input tax deduction.

1. Finance Transformation:

• Building group structures: Active participation in the conception, harmonization, and establishment of future-oriented finance and controlling structures for the entire group (with subsidiaries in Czech Republic, Germany, and China).
• Digitalization & Automation: Identification of optimization potential and driving digital workflows in the finance area (e.g., paperless document processing, system connections).
• Further developing financial leadership: Contributing your own ideas to improve reporting routines, key figures, and processes – directly in exchange with management.

WHAT YOU BRING WITH YOU:

• Commercial basic training supplemented by targeted further training in the finance area (e.g., accounting clerk, specialist in finance and accounting with federal professional diploma, or dipl. finance and controlling expert).
• Several years of practical experience in general and subsidiary ledger accounting, ideally in a commercial, industrial, or fiduciary environment.
• Doer mentality: Reliable and precise in day-to-day business, at the same time curious, solution-oriented, and motivated to help shape new processes.
• IT affinity: Confident handling of common accounting/ERP software (e.g., Abacus, bexio, Sage etc.) as well as sound MS Office skills (especially Excel).
• Languages: Very good German skills in speaking and writing; good English skills are a clear plus within the context of group development.
