The Mother/Child pole offers patients multidisciplinary care. A team of professionals composed of doctors, nurses, and nursing assistants takes care of children as well as their families in a space dedicated to their well-being, from birth to 18 years old.

In order to complete this service we are recruiting a

Medical Assistant in Pediatrics - CDI 80% (ref : 2006)

Your mission:

In a cutting-edge establishment, you will hold a varied position within a multidisciplinary team including nurses, nursing assistants, and pediatricians.

You will have to ensure the reception of patients and their families and the good order of the service.

In this capacity, you are in charge of;

• Welcoming young patients and their parents with empathy, listening, and patience, then evaluating the degree of urgency of situations
• Assisting the pediatrician during examinations, measuring and weighing infants and children
• Practicing care with the pediatrician (assistance with dressings, etc.)
• Performing blood tests, injections, vaccinations, dressings, and preparing sterile material
• Performing basic medical analyses and preparing specific examinations
• Ensuring the good order and cleanliness of the medical office: forms, documents, signage
• Organizing home care via SITEX/IMAD/pediadom (same as nurse)
• Organization of patient transfers as needed
• Managing the agenda, telephone calls, billing follow-up, material orders, and maintenance of computerized medical records.

We are looking for a profile meeting the following criteria:

• 2 to 3 years minimum experience within a hospital structure, or within a pediatric practice (in Switzerland)
• Medical Assistant diploma
• Autonomy, benevolence, versatility, capacity for adaptation, organization, and sense of priorities are essential qualities
