For our customer near Gossau SG, an innovative company in cable manufacturing, we are looking for a motivated, quality-conscious personality for the operation of the processing plants, starting immediately or by arrangement. If you bring technical skill, enjoy working independently on modern plants and appreciate a dynamic environment, you are exactly right for us.

Your tasks

• Plant operation & setup processes: Independent operation, setup and loading of the processing plants according to specifications, including spool, material and roll changes.
• Process monitoring & quality: Monitoring the manufacturing steps, logging the data and active intervention in case of deviations for quality assurance.
• Maintenance & troubleshooting: Independent rectification of minor malfunctions as well as performing autonomous maintenance and upkeep work.
• Digital order management: Operating the MES control system for order processing and precise production data recording.
• Process optimization & 5S: Active participation in Lean activities and consistent implementation of 5S standards for a clean and structured workplace.

Qualifications

What you bring with you

• Education: Successfully completed basic training as Anlagenführer EFZ, Production Mechanic, Polymechanic or a comparable mechanical training.
• Experience: Several years of professional experience in the operator guidance of production plants – ideally in length production (cable production) or related industries.
• IT & Technology: Very good technical understanding, proficient use of the PC (ERP/MES systems) as well as an exact and quality-conscious way of working.
• Personality: Quick comprehension, strong teamwork skills, reliability and high commitment.
• Languages & shift readiness: Very good German skills (spoken and written) as well as the readiness to work in the 3-shift system.
