What awaits you

• Tasks as a class and specialist teacher as well as course instructor within the Civil Protection Organization
• Collaboration in the command of the ZSO / battalion staff within the framework of leadership and staff work in training, planning, and deployment
• Co-responsibility in the planning and execution of refresher courses together with the militia officers
• Leadership of the subordinate persons liable for protection service during deployment
• Responsibility for the personnel planning of the assigned functions and formations
• Creation of concepts, orders, training documents, and other bases relevant to deployment and training
• Material responsibility in the assigned technical area and advising the department management on material procurement
• Support for the logistics employees in the maintenance and ensuring the operational readiness of the material
• Participation in budget planning within your own area of responsibility
• Maintenance and further development of the network to institutions, partner organizations, and other civil protection agencies
• Assumption of further tasks on behalf of the department management

What you bring with you

• Completed, at least three-year vocational training
• Completed training as a Civil Protection Instructor with a federal diploma or verifiable instruction, leadership, and training experience in the army, fire department, civil protection, or a comparable organization
• Pronounced interest in civil protection, understanding of its partner organizations and the security architecture of Switzerland, as well as the motivation to commit to the safety and protection of the population
• Joy in the training of adults as well as the ability to convey complex content in an understandable and practical manner
• Very good oral and written German skills
• Very good ICT user skills
• Confident, credible, and exemplary appearance
• Assertiveness, initiative, organizational skill, flexibility, resilience, and ability to work in a team
• Readiness to provide service in the Civil Protection Organization, provided there is no compulsory military service
• Flawless reputation
