Your tasks in detail:

• Carrying out market, competitor and technology analyses as well as evaluating relevant trends, threats and future deployment scenarios
• Identification of business potentials and creation of recommendations for action to expand the product portfolio
• Initiation and management of strategic initiatives to tap into new business areas
• Validation of new product ideas and requirements in direct exchange with customers and user groups
• Co-shaping the Idea-to-Product process from the first product idea through to validation and market launch
• Supporting Business Development, Bid Management and Sales during tenders, campaigns, customer presentations
• Preparation of decision templates and management presentations
• Processing of strategic special topics and market inquiries in close cooperation with Engineering, Sales, customers, armed forces and external partners

WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING

• Completed studies in Information Technology, Mechatronics, Systems Engineering, (Business) Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or a comparable field of study
• Several years of professional experience in product management, strategic consulting or a comparable environment
• Experience in the development of strategic analysis, product strategies, business cases as well as in handling complex technical products
• Knowledge of military air defense architectures is an advantage
• Knowledge of agile product management and development methods is desirable
• Strong strategic and entrepreneurial thinking as well as high customer and market orientation
• Analytical, structured and independent way of working with the ability to oversee even complex technical and organizational contexts
• Strong communication skills and confident appearance towards customers, management and various internal as well as external stakeholders
• Very good German and English skills in spoken and written form as well as team spirit, initiative and enthusiasm for innovative technologies
