What you can achieve: Responsible for the strategic direction of the Metals commodity group in an industrial environment Developing and implementing the commodity group strategy in harmony with the procurement and operations strategy Participation in development projects and coordination of procurement activities within strategic procurement Responsible for professional, worldwide supplier management (evaluation, selection, assessment and development) Conducting targeted procurement market research and monitoring, as well as identifying new trends Drafting and negotiating contracts, conducting price and condition negotiations Ensuring material availability in the development phases in close cooperation with the operational buyers Adherence to processes, governance and compliance What you bring: Completed basic commercial training or technical training with further commercial training Completed further training in the field of procurement or supply chain management Several years of experience in strategic purchasing in an industrial environment Experience with the Metals commodity group is an advantage Reliable personality with entrepreneurial thinking Independent, structured and conscientious way of working Initiative, negotiation skills and assertiveness Open, communicative and integrous team player Negotiation-secure in German and English, both spoken and written (Level C1) Learn more about professional opportunities at Hamilton at .
