Zurich Airport operates one of the largest private power grids in Switzerland and ensures the energy supply of a high-availability infrastructure around the clock. At the same time, we are driving the transformation towards a climate-neutral energy supply. To strengthen our team, we are looking for a committed personality who is responsible for the expansion of renewable power production, the development of intelligent grid infrastructures, and the establishment of a future-proof charging infrastructure for electromobility. In this role, you will take on a key role in the further development of our power supply and, as the deputy of the Head of Power Supply, actively participate in strategic and operational decisions.

Your job destination ##

• You lead demanding infrastructure and energy projects from the idea to commissioning
• You actively develop the power supply of Zurich Airport and shape the energy transition at one of the most significant transport hubs in Switzerland
• You drive the expansion of photovoltaics, the charging infrastructure for e-mobility, and other innovative energy solutions
• You are responsible for the conception and design of medium and low voltage systems as well as the further development of our area network
• You support power procurement and accompany energy economic issues with a view to security of supply and economic efficiency
• As the deputy of the Head of Power Supply, you take on leadership tasks and gain insight into all topics of a modern energy supply

Your skills in your luggage ##

• Completed studies in the field of electrical engineering, energy technology, or a comparable discipline
• Several years of experience in the planning, development, or realization of energy or infrastructure projects
• Enjoyment in assessing technical, economic, and strategic issues holistically
• Independent, structured, and solution-oriented way of working
• Convincing appearance as well as the ability to bring different stakeholders together
