Municipal properties are managed centrally in Wädenswil. For the maintenance and management of the school buildings of the Glärnisch school unit, we are looking for, immediately or by agreement, a/an

Your areas of action include

• the technical and personnel management of the maintenance team of the Glärnisch school establishment (subordinate caretakers, maintenance specialists, and cleaning staff)
• the responsibility for preserving the value, maintenance, and cleaning of the assigned properties and sports halls
• the supervision, use, monitoring, and control of the entire technical infrastructure such as locking systems, elevators, ventilation/heating systems
• the guidance, technical support, and assistance during school, sporting, and cultural events
• the guarantee of operational safety, fire protection, and accident prevention across the entire site
• the reception and handover of event rooms as well as the coordination of external users of the premises
• support for construction projects of the assigned school unit
• administrative tasks such as requesting and comparing offers from tradespeople, managing reports, material procurement, and invoice control
• the coordination and assistance in the maintenance of the surroundings as well as the guarantee of winter service
• taking charge of mutual representation within the school units
• availability for regular evening interventions as well as weekends and public holidays

What you bring

• a completed basic craft training with a federal certificate of proficiency as a caretaker
• several years of professional and management experience in a comparable role
• profound craft expertise and a broad technical understanding (building management technology)
• very good knowledge regarding safety (occupational safety, fire protection)
• autonomy, flexibility, and a sense of responsibility
• high social competence, impeccable manners, and a strong service orientation
• experience in collaborating with various stakeholders in the fields of school, sport, and culture
• organizational talent, with the ability to maintain an overview and plan prospectively
• very good oral and written knowledge of German
• good user IT skills (MS Office programs, CAFM Campos tool)
• category B driver's license
