What you can achieve

• You ensure material and production readiness according to the project and manufacturing schedules.
• You derive the required material and manufacturing requirements from project plans, bills of materials, and schedules.
• You create, plan, and schedule production orders in SAP and ensure their correct project assignment and timely implementation.
• You coordinate and initiate suitable measures in close cooperation with purchasing, production, engineering, project management, and logistics.
• You ensure the quality and timeliness of planning- and manufacturing-relevant data in SAP.
• You support the implementation of technical changes in ongoing and planned production orders.
• You identify optimization potential in requirements planning, work preparation, and production processing and actively participate in their implementation.

What you bring with you

• Several years of experience in requirements planning, work preparation, production planning, material requirements planning, or project-related procurement
• Completed technical or commercial training with strong technical understanding; further training in logistics, AVOR, production planning, purchasing, or supply chain is an advantage
• Very good understanding of bills of materials, production orders, schedules, and material flows in an industrial or project-oriented environment
• Technical understanding of hardware, electronic components, and assemblies, ideally with experience in the area of printed circuit boards and electronics
• Experience in using ERP systems, ideally SAP, as well as in cooperating with purchasing, suppliers, engineering, and production
• Ability to understand technical documentation and material requirements as well as to recognize dependencies between material, technology, and production
• High sense of responsibility, reliability, and a structured way of working in a project-critical environment

About the department

Production Management ensures that customer orders are implemented on time, within cost, and according to quality from the order to the delivery. In doing so, it coordinates the cooperation between engineering, purchasing, logistics, and production and ensures a smooth process across all stages.
A vital component is requirements planning and work preparation. It ensures that materials, bills of materials, production orders, and relevant production documents are available on time and in the required quality. Thus, Production Management creates the prerequisites to implement orders in production in a predictable, efficient, and timely manner.
