MISSION DESCRIPTION

A mission that has meaning, at the heart of Genevan EMS

• Ensure the organization, coordination, and evaluation of nursing care within the psychogeriatrics unit.
• Supervise, accompany, and support the healthcare team in its daily practice.
• Develop and ensure the planning of healthcare teams (schedules, absences, replacements), while ensuring an optimal distribution of resources according to the needs of the unit.
• Guarantee the quality, safety, and continuity of care in compliance with protocols and good professional practices.
• Participate in the development and monitoring of personalized care projects in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
• Evaluate the physical, psychic, and cognitive health status of residents and adapt care based on their needs.
• Accompany teams in the management of complex situations and the management of behavioral disorders.
• Work in close collaboration with the human resources team in the administrative management of personnel, the monitoring of employees, recruitment, and the support of professional paths.

EXPECTED PROFILE

• You hold a nursing diploma with Swiss Red Cross (CRS) recognition.
• You have confirmed experience in psychogeriatrics and are comfortable accompanying elderly people presenting cognitive and/or psychic disorders.
• You have experience in team management and demonstrate a good capacity for positioning, decision-making, and managing complex situations.
• You hold training or a diploma in management: a real asset.
• You are recognized for your empathy, your calm, your benevolence, and your excellent sense of human relations.
• You have at least 2 years of experience in care, ideally within an EMS in Switzerland.
• You enjoy teamwork, demonstrate flexibility, and know how to adapt to field realities.
• You master the SADIES software: an additional asset.
