HSE Specialist / Safety Specialist (EKAS)

Your daily work

In this key position, reporting directly to the executive management, you will assume overall responsibility for the three central areas of occupational safety & health protection, environment & energy, as well as project management & project leadership. You ensure that legal requirements, internal standards, and corporate goals are not only complied with, but effectively translated into the organization and sustainably anchored. In the area of occupational safety and health protection, you further develop existing systems, conduct risk analyses, audits, and inspections, train employees, and strengthen the safety culture throughout the entire company. At the same time, you are responsible for the topics of environment and energy, monitor relevant processes, ensure necessary compliance, and initiate targeted optimization and efficiency measures. Furthermore, you lead and control projects in the areas of safety, environment, and energy – from conception and implementation to reporting to executive management and the group. You coordinate internal and external interfaces, initiate improvements, and ensure that change processes are professionally accompanied and successfully implemented.

Your profile

• Completed vocational training in the industrial sector
• Advantageous additional training as a safety engineer or safety specialist (EKAS)
• Several years of experience in occupational safety as well as in environmental management
• Project management competence with practical experience in leading projects
• Proficient German and good English skills
• Convincing, strong-communication personality with assertiveness
• Experience in the training and sensitization of employees
• Analytical, structured, and independent way of working
