For our location in Niederurnen, we are looking for a Head of Transport Dispatch 100% (m/w/d) Head of Transport Dispatch 100% (m/w/d) Tasks Responsibility for the operational management and active participation in the areas of goods inbound and outbound transport as well as customs and foreign trade compliance Management of the three-member transport team with technical leadership, motivation and further development of employees Ensuring a smooth and legally compliant transport process in road, rail, sea and air transport with national and international transport and logistics partners as well as coordination of transports between Swisspearl locations Responsibility for compliance with all customs and foreign trade law as well as transport-related legal and regulatory requirements Continuous development of transport processes on an operational and strategic level with a focus on Lean Logistics, digitalization and automation Close cooperation and interface management with the areas of purchasing, logistics, order management and production planning as well as the Transportation Category Owner and the transport managers of the other Swisspearl locations Development, monitoring and continuous optimization of key figures (KPIs) for measuring and increasing logistics and transport performance Requirements Completed vocational training in the field of transport, logistics or freight forwarding, supplemented by a higher vocational training or a university degree (e.g. as a transport specialist, logistics specialist or with a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management) Several years of professional experience in the management and leadership of transport processes, ideally in an industrial environment In-depth knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and ERP systems; experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 is an advantage Proven leadership skills, assertiveness and excellent communication skills High sense of responsibility, a structured and independent way of working as well as a pronounced hands-on mentality Experience with Lean Management is an advantage Very good German language skills as well as English language skills in word and writing (C1 level) We offer You can expect a responsible and exciting field of activity in a sustainably growing company.
