Do you want to work with your hands and see what you have created at the end of the day? In the apprenticeship as a Polymechanic EFZ specialization maintenance in the Kernkraftwerk Gösgen, you will learn exactly that.

You work with metal, manufacture workpieces, maintain machines, and help ensure that one of Switzerland's most important energy facilities runs reliably.

Specialization Maintenance

What awaits you: ##

• 4-year training
• In the first two years of apprenticeship, basic training in our training workshop
• You will learn drilling, turning, milling, sawing, assembling, and measuring
• In the last two years of apprenticeship, focus on maintenance in the power plant
• Collaboration on maintenance work, revisions, and maintenance projects
• Working in a team with our maintenance technicians and technical professionals

• Good spatial reasoning
• Interest in technology, mechanics, and interconnections
• Enjoyment of mathematics, physics, and technical drawing
• Manual dexterity and an exact, careful way of working
• Patience, perseverance, even when something does not work right away
• Enjoyment of working in a team
• Sekundarstufe E as well as good to very good performance in mathematics and physics
