Your tasks

• Counseling asylum seekers and recognized refugees (personal assistance);
• Orientation of economic social assistance according to SKOS and asylum directives;
• Collaboration in clusters (social work, administration, professional integration) for optimal promotion of linguistic, professional and social integration;
• Maintenance of partnership cooperations with other offices, municipalities as well as private organizations;
• Management of files and cases;
• Additional specific tasks, participation in working groups and committees according to experience, aptitude and interest.

Your profile

• Bachelor / HES diploma in social work;
• Experience in the field of migration;
• Experience in the orientation of economic social assistance;
• High social competence and team spirit;
• Personal initiative, stress resistance and ability to manage diverse expectations;
• Assured mastery of German orally and in writing; knowledge of other languages is an asset;
• Good knowledge of ICT / applications; KLIBnet case management software is an advantage.

The department of asylum social services is, within the Cantonal Office of Social Affairs, responsible for the counseling, accompaniment, support and accommodation of single persons and families in the field of asylum, refugees, hardship cases and emergency aid throughout the canton of Zug.
