Your missions As a Cantonal Chemist, you contribute with the Head of Service to the development and implementation of public policies relating to food safety Through your role, you are responsible for the management, execution, and supervision of tasks defined by legislation in the field of food commodities and consumer goods, chemical products, as well as the hygiene of swimming pools and public beaches You coordinate and supervise the control activities for food commodities and consumer goods and participate in the recruitment of specialists in the field of food safety You guide and advise the Head of Service, the Directorate, as well as the State Councillor in your field of competence Desired profile Holder of a university, EPF, or HES master's degree in chemistry, biochemistry, food sciences, or natural sciences, you ideally benefit from a federal diploma in the direction of official food control (DDCAl) within the meaning of the federal ordinance in force Result-oriented, you are proactive and take the initiatives and decision proposals required to successfully carry out your mission Equipped with good communication skills, you know how to work in a team and collaborate actively with your colleagues and interlocutors in a pragmatic manner Stress-resistant, you are confronted with a significant workload as well as irregular hours Knowledge of the Fribourg agri-food fabric is a plus You master the French or German language and have excellent knowledge of the other language Contact person details Wicht, HR Manager Write an email (<>) T jpid0218264jm jit0730jm jiy26jm
