Finance Business Partner Major projects and strategic projects (f/m/d) In this role, you steer strategic and network projects as a Finance Business Partner and guarantee complete financial transparency. Thanks to your understanding of risks, opportunities, and interdependencies, you support project managers and management in their decisions, in a proactive, critical, and solution-oriented manner. Important information: Main place of work: Avenches, Volketswil and Zurich with regular travel. What you accomplish You assume the financial planning, steering, and monitoring of complex, large-scale projects and network projects. You develop budgets, forecasts, business cases, and decision bases. You ensure transparency regarding costs, risks, dependencies, and financial impacts. You analyze variances, define measures, and implement them proactively. You act as a thought partner for project managers and management. You evaluate opportunities and risks and develop steering scenarios. You guarantee reporting adapted to the recipients for management and decision-making bodies. You evolve project controlling standards, processes, and simulation tools. What you bring Education: Completed studies (Uni/EFP, HES, ES) Specialization: or additional training in business management, finance, controlling, industrial engineering, or an equivalent field. Professional experience: More than ten years of experience in controlling, ideally in investment project controlling or network project controlling. Proven experience in the financial steering of complex, multi-year projects involving multiple sub-projects, stakeholders, and dependencies. Solid knowledge in budgeting, forecasting, business cases, investment controlling, project cost accounting, and management reporting. Excellent command of simulation methods and experience with simulation tools. Very good understanding of project management methods, project governance, risk management, as well as contract and claims management. Strong affinity with numbers and systems, as well as excellent command of ERP, controlling, and reporting tools. You act as a true Business Partner: you demonstrate proactivity, question situations with a critical mind, and provide a solution-oriented financial perspective. You demonstrate ease in exchanges with project managers, management, and steering committees. You work autonomously, demonstrate resilience, and appreciate dynamic and cross-functional project environments. You are willing to travel in French-speaking and German-speaking Switzerland, particularly to the sites of Avenches, Courtepin, Volketswil, Gränichen, Bischofszell and Zurich.
