Your responsibility

• Responsibility for the entire cantonal payroll processing for around 11'000 employees, including monthly and annual closings as well as the payroll and social insurance-relevant control processes
• Personnel, technical, and organizational leadership of the four-member team as well as continuous development of the specialist department
• Strategic further development of payroll and social insurance matters as well as SAP HCM
• Consulting and cooperation with internal and external stakeholders
• Leadership and participation in entire-canton projects as well as implementation of legal, organizational, and technical innovations
• Ensuring compliance, quality, and process responsibility as well as continuous optimization of the specialist processes

Your background

• Completed commercial basic training with higher vocational training in the HR, payroll, or social insurance field
• Several years of professional and leadership experience in the field of payroll and social insurances, ideally in a complex organization
• Very good knowledge of SAP HCM as well as high IT affinity and interest in digitalization and process optimization
• Experience in the leadership and implementation of projects as well as in the further development of processes and systems
• Strong business understanding as well as analytical and conceptual skills

The Personalamt of the Canton Basel-Landschaft is part of the Finanz- und Kirchendirektion and is responsible for the uniform and strategic alignment of HR management within the cantonal administration.
The Dienstleistungszentrum Personal (DLZ) is responsible for personnel administration, HR support, as well as payroll processing -- including the settlement of social insurances for all administrative units of the Canton.
