Procurement Specialist - Materials / Processes / Supply Chain / Google Suite Background: Roche Diagnostics International operates a site in Rotkreuz, where over 2600 employees develop new diagnostic devices for disease diagnosis. At the site, research is conducted in laboratories with demanding cleanroom and safety requirements, software and hardware are developed, and diagnostic devices are assembled in production halls and shipped via logistics halls. Rotkreuz is also the global office headquarters of the Diagnostics division, where various nations collaborate on challenging projects. You will work for the Procurement department of the Swiss sales organization Roche Diagnostics (Schweiz) AG. The core tasks in Procurement include ensuring an uninterrupted flow of goods at competitive prices and using buying power to increase efficiency. We support internal business partners in procurement to generate corresponding added value for the organization. In addition, we analyze the procurement market and ensure professional supplier management (SRM). By implementing digital solutions, we guarantee smooth and efficient purchasing processes. We are also responsible for managing our vehicle fleet. The perfect candidate: The perfect candidate has a successfully completed Bachelor's degree and in-depth project experience in the field of Supply Chain or Procurement, and moves with confidence in an international environment thanks to negotiation-secure German, English, and SAP skills. As a strategically thinking purchasing specialist, they sovereignly control operational processes for indirect materials, optimize the supplier portfolio through data-based reporting, and drive innovative procurement processes independently. They convince with a high degree of initiative, negotiating skill, and analytical strength to flexibly solve complex challenges and perfectly integrate into Roche's performance-oriented culture. Tasks & Responsibilities: • Specialist in Procurement with a focus on indirect materials • Support and ensure planning and control of operational purchasing processes • Evaluation, selection, and management of external partners and suppliers • Support for local, regional, and global tenders as well as purchasing projects • Support for contract negotiations with suppliers, contract filing and monitoring, and contract terminations • Support for internal and external audits as well as supplier audits • Advice and support for departments in procurement activities, supplier portfolio, and compliance issues to manage suppliers • Co-responsibility for procurement processes and their further development, support for operational purchasing through specifications and tools.
