Team Leader Real Estate Accounting 60-100% (a)

Introduction

For our client, an established company in the real estate industry, we are looking for an experienced personality as Team Leader Real Estate Accounting 60-100% (a). You will lead the real estate accounting professionally and personally and simultaneously participate actively in the operative daily business.

Tasks

• Professional and personal leadership of the accounting team
• Independent management of the accounting for rental properties
• Preparation of interim and annual financial statements as well as ancillary and operating cost statements
• Responsibility for accounts payable, accounts receivable, and debt collection
• Budget preparation, VAT returns, and reporting
• Central contact person for internal and external stakeholders
• Participation in the optimization of accounting processes

Profile

• Several years of professional experience in real estate accounting
• Very high proficiency in closing financial statements in the area of property accounting
• Knowledge of tenancy law is an advantage
• Initial leadership experience desirable, but not mandatory
• Structured, precise, and responsible way of working
• Good IT skills; experience with industry-specific software is an advantage
• Very good German skills in spoken and written
