What you do ##

As a dipl. Expert Anesthesia Nursing NDS HF with a vocational training function, you will work actively in adult and pediatric anesthesia and simultaneously take on an important role in the practical training and further education of future specialists.

Clinical activity

• You ensure professional, safe, and patient-oriented care during regional and general anesthesia.
• You work in both adult and pediatric anesthesia and actively contribute your anesthesiological expertise.
• You continuously monitor patients, recognize changes early, and react appropriately to the situation.
• In emergency and crisis situations, you act in a structured manner and, together with the anesthesia team, initiate the necessary measures.
• You support safe and professional positioning of patients.
• You work closely with the medical service as well as other professional groups in the operating area and undertake interdisciplinary tasks as required.

Vocational training

• You accompany and promote learners and students during their practical assignments individually, appreciatively, and goal-orientedly.
• You plan and design learning sequences in daily clinical life and purposefully create situations in which theoretical knowledge can be linked with practical experience.
• You promote the development of specialist, methodological, social, and self-competence and accompany learners and students on their path toward increasing independence and professional responsibility.
• You observe and assess learning progress and conduct structured status, learning, and assessment interviews.
• You provide constructive feedback, support reflection processes, and promote a professional learning and error culture.
• You work closely with those responsible for vocational training, the nursing team, and the respective educational institutions.
• You actively contribute to the further development of practical training and the quality of training in anesthesia nursing.

What distinguishes you ##

For this responsible dual function, we are looking for a professionally skilled and pedagogically interested personality who enjoys accompanying people in their professional development.

• Diploma as Expert Anesthesia Nursing NDS HF or an equivalent, recognized qualification in Switzerland
• Sound professional experience and high specialist competence in anesthesia nursing
• Pedagogical further training, e.g., SVEB certificate, or the willingness to acquire a corresponding qualification
• Joy in accompanying and promoting learners and students of different training levels and age groups
• Ability to design learning processes individually, recognize development potential, and provide constructive feedback
• Strong communication, reflection, and social competence
• Sense of responsibility, independence, and a structured way of working
• Experience in pediatric anesthesia is an advantage, but not a requirement
• Joy in interprofessional cooperation and in the active further development of training quality
• Good general IT user knowledge
• Very good German or French skills as well as knowledge of the respective other language
