We are looking for our long-standing customer in Bern, starting immediately, for a:

Maintenance Technician (m/f/d) ##

Responsibilities:

• Preparatory work on vehicles and components for painting
• Execution of painting work on rail vehicles and their components
• Large-scale painting according to specified quality standards
• Rectification, repair, and post-processing work
• Control of surface quality and ensuring a flawless finish
• Operation of crane systems and safe slinging of loads
• Compliance with safety, quality, and environmental regulations
• Documentation of performed work according to specifications

Requirements:

• Completed training as Industrial Painter EBA or EFZ, Car Painter EBA or EFZ, or comparable training
• Several years of professional experience in painting industrial vehicles or large components
• Experience with large-scale painting
• Good German skills in speaking and writing
• Valid crane operator's license
• Training as a slinger is an advantage or willingness to use these skills
• Completed PSAgA fall protection or height safety course
• Physical resilience and a reliable way of working
• High awareness of safety, quality, and responsibility
• Ability to work in a team as well as a careful and independent way of working
