Background: The "Operate Buildings" area is responsible at the Basel and Kaiseraugst locations for ensuring the energy and media supply, ensuring building operations, and providing services in the maintenance sector. The Technical Building Operations team ensures the reliable, regulatory-compliant, and cost-conscious operation of the building technology systems.
We are looking for a Technical Building Operator in the area of "Production and Infrastructure Buildings" for the Kaiseraugst location.

As a Technical Building Operator, you will:

• Ensure the availability of the technical building equipment, the GMP- and regulatory-compliant, as well as the economical operation of the systems over the entire useful life of the buildings
• Be allowed to take responsibility for technical building and system inspections, fault rectification, maintenance, continuous system optimizations (energy, costs) and third-party company supervision and their timely documentation (also GMP)
• Perform on-call service and participate in various exciting projects
• Bring about change with your expertise and benefit from expertise in other areas through cooperation
• Ensure the exchange of information in the specialist departments and participate proactively, as well as independently, in self-organized teams

The perfect candidate: Possesses a completed technical training in the field of building technology and more than 3 years of experience in the field as well as in the maintenance of technical building equipment. In addition, the person brings basic knowledge of IT applications and fluent German skills.

• Responsibility for third-party company supervision as well as GMP-compliant documentation

• Ensure the exchange of information in the specialist departments and participate proactively, as well as independently, in self-organized teams.

Must Haves:

• Completed technical vocational training in the field of building technology (e.g., automation technician, ventilation fitter), ideally a maintenance specialist
• Min. 3 years of professional experience in the operation and maintenance of technical building equipment
• Basic knowledge of IT applications (Office, SAP, etc.)
• Fluent German skills in speaking and writing
• Independence and a proactive way of working
• Team orientation and willingness to cooperate
• Problem-solving ability and decisiveness
• High level of willingness to take responsibility

Nice to have:

• GMP knowledge
• Further training as an IH-specialist
• Several years of professional experience in the operation and maintenance of technical building equipment
• Ideally English skills
