With the new Police Center Bern (PZB) in Niederwangen, we are creating a modern and long-term infrastructure for the Kantonspolizei Bern. Would you like to help shape the future operations even during the realization phase and take responsibility for Facility Management after commissioning? In this key position, you will combine project work, technology, and leadership.

Your tasks

• Represent the operational interests of the Kantonspolizei Bern towards the client, internal stakeholders, and external partners
• Accompany the new building project in the areas of Facility Management, maintenance, building technology (HLKKSE), MSRL, and BIM
• Develop an efficient and sustainable operational organization with clear roles, processes, services, as well as internal and external resources
• Plan and coordinate the relocation of the various organizational units
• After commissioning, take over the technical, organizational, and personnel leadership of the Facility Management PZB area
• Develop operational budgets, concepts, decision-making bases, as well as public tenders and procurements
• Ensure reliable operation, functional capability, and value retention of the properties (focus PZB) and support further projects in the building technology specialist area

Your profile

• Tertiary degree in Facility Management, electrical or building technology, or a comparable qualification
• Broad knowledge in Facility Management and building technology, ideally in HLKKSE, MSRL, and BIM
• Proven leadership and project management experience as well as ideally knowledge of the HERMES method
• Experience in budget and cost center responsibility
• Conceptual strength, business understanding, and a proactive, solution-oriented way of working
• Convincing communication, negotiation skills, and an appreciative, assertive leadership style
• Very good German and good French skills
• Willingness to work outside office hours and to take on on-call duty
