Your Responsibility In this responsible function, you lead the legal services professionally, organizationally, and personally. Ensuring high-quality, practical, and uniform legal advice within the organization is one of your central tasks. You clarify and assess legal questions from daily police operations, process complaints, and provide legal information to internal and external bodies. You are responsible for the legal quality assurance of the Polizei Kanton Solothurn. This specifically includes statements, decrees, instructions, data protection issues, and other legally demanding matters. You review legislative proposals from a legal perspective and ensure that they are legally correct, understandable, and implementable in practice. You design training and further education for employees and conduct them in the areas of police law, criminal procedural law, and other police-relevant legal fields. Your Profile You have a completed legal degree, preferably with a bar attorney patent, as well as several years of professional legal experience. Ideally, you bring leadership experience and in-depth knowledge of state and administrative law as well as police law.
