Production Manager

V-ZUG Kühltechnik AG ### We are a subsidiary of V-ZUG AG. We develop and produce cooling and freezing appliances as well as wine coolers at our location in Sulgen. In doing so, precision, quality and reliability are key. Just as important are people who take responsibility, develop solutions together and want to continuously improve. As Production Manager, you will take overall responsibility for our production in Sulgen. You will lead five team leaders and thus indirectly around 80 employees. You will ensure stable production operations, further develop processes and create an environment in which people can take responsibility and develop further. What the position offers you ### • You bear overall responsibility for smooth production operations at the Sulgen location and ensure the achievement of targets in safety, quality, deadlines, costs, productivity and automation. • You lead and develop our five team leaders. In doing so, you provide orientation, promote individual responsibility and create the prerequisites for strong cooperation and sustainable development. • You ensure proactive capacity and resource planning and identify possible bottlenecks early. • You control and further develop shopfloor management. You recognize deviations early and initiate effective measures together with those responsible. • You take responsibility for the entire personnel cycle in your area. This includes recruitment, onboarding, employee appraisals, target agreements, performance reviews, development measures, disciplinary issues, separation processes and co-responsibility in the annual salary round. • You work closely with SCM, Quality, OpEx, BEX, R&D, P&C, Finance and Controlling as well as the site management. In doing so, you combine operational requirements with overarching goals and drive cross-departmental topics forward. What you bring for the position ### • You combine technical understanding with leadership competence and enjoyment of continuous improvement. • You have a basic technical education from industry and several years of leadership experience in production. • You have experience in leading larger teams through changes, high-load periods and demanding operational situations while maintaining an overview. • You lead clearly, bindingly and at eye level. You set goals, provide orientation and recognize what your employees need to take responsibility and develop further. • You know production processes from practice and have sound experience with Lean methods and 5S. You implement improvements consistently and ensure that they have a sustainable effect in everyday production. • You communicate openly and appropriately to the situation. On the shopfloor as well as with interfaces, in the management team or towards the site management. • SAP and relevant production systems are part of your daily work. You can move confidently in complex process landscapes and support your team in dealing with them. • You communicate confidently in German, both written and spoken. English skills are an advantage, especially in exchange with international interfaces.
