Junior System Engineer We are looking for a Junior System Engineer in the area of Data Platforms and Linux within the IT infrastructure. The place of work is Zürich. Your tasks * Engineering & operation of highly scalable Data platforms on Red Hat Linux and OpenShift infrastructures; * Automation & optimization of deployments and operational processes using GitOps, Ansible and Infrastructure as Code approaches; * Interdisciplinary collaboration with Data Science, Security and Server teams for the integration of complex overall solutions; * 2nd-level support including on-call service. Your profile * Completed studies in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field (FH/Uni/ETH); * Strong analytical and communicative skills to analyze problems and solve them constructively; * Practical experience in Linux engineering and operations (RedHat Linux, OpenShift, Bash, GitLab, Python); * Experience in Infrastructure as Code and application of GitOps principles; * Knowledge of Security concepts (RBAC, network segmentation, secrets management); * Business fluent in German or French as well as in English.
