Your tasks

• Creation and commissioning of software and configurations in the field of Pro-AV system solutions (controls, audio, video, unified communications)
• Integration, commissioning and testing of AV systems in operation as well as at the client's site
• Carrying out fault analyses, troubleshooting and optimization of existing installations
• Writing technical documentation and user manuals
• Continuous coordination and collaboration with software engineering, technical and project management
• Training of employees and end customers in the field of the systems used
• On-call service (3rd level)

Your profile

• Completed basic technical training in the field of media technology, electrotechnics, computer science or similar with appropriate additional training
• Experience as a systems engineer or technician in the Pro-AV environment (audio, video, network, control systems)
• In-depth knowledge in the fields of audio, video, light and network technology
• Knowledge in configuration of control systems (e.g. media controls, touch panels, DSP, VPU)
• Knowledge in AV-over-IP, network technology (TCP/IP, VLAN, QoS) as well as common protocols
• Experience with Pro-AV manufacturer products such as Crestron, Shure, Q-SYS or Extron
• Structured and solution-oriented way of working with a high degree of autonomy
• Team spirit as well as good communication skills in exchanges with clients and project teams
• Availability for travel (project-related, in Switzerland)
• Good knowledge of German and English, good knowledge of French is an asset
