The contribution you can make

• Develop and manage scientific concepts, implementation plans and complex projects in the sectors of the Center of excellence (CoE) signals, military electronic warfare systems and telecommunications, while simultaneously acting as the main user representative for the unitary data platform towards the competent procurement authority and industry
• Independently perform advanced analysis of signals, spectra, interference and protocols, be responsible for the bases of the integrated signals laboratory (ISL) and provide support in the creation of bases relating to the development of decoders, the generation of signals in favor of effector systems and reverse engineering
• Develop, plan and conduct experiments within the framework of Concept development and experimentation (CD&E) and manage internal and external bodies with particular emphasis on signal and protocol analysis
• Develop scientific concepts, studies and cross-organizational analyses, as well as define innovation projects and their implementation in collaboration with armasuisse S+T and/or industrial partners

What distinguishes you

• Federal Diploma of Higher Education (PF) in engineering, physics or mathematics or university degree, and several years of professional experience
• Additional training in the field of project management or several years of experience in project direction / program management constitutes an advantage
• High level of initiative, strong orientation towards service and solutions, assertiveness and good communication skills
• Good active knowledge in at least one second official language and, if possible, passive knowledge in a third official language and good knowledge of English

As an electronic operations systems engineer, you will work in a small team of specialists within the Center of excellence signals, dealing with Radio frequency (RF) signal analysis and experiments in the laboratory, in the field and within the framework of projects, all in a dynamic, intelligence and electromagnetic environment.
