Job Objective
As a Workplace & Support Engineer, you will have the opportunity to actively contribute to the design and evolution of tomorrow's IT work environment for all employees of our group of laboratories.
You develop and evolve our IT work environment (Workplace), evaluate new technologies and solutions, and contribute, with your colleagues, to ensuring a modern, reliable, secure, and high-performance environment.
You work in close collaboration with our Workplace technicians, our engineers, other IT specialized areas, as well as with our external partners.
Your impact in this role
Lifecycle Management of the Windows and IGEL client environment (Levels 2 and 3),
Configuration and development of our client management solutions,
Participation in Active Directory / GPO lifecycle management (design, maintenance, troubleshooting),
Evaluation and standardization of Workplace hardware and printing environments, as well as collaboration with external partners,
Development and maintenance of PowerShell automations for Workplace/user processes,
Leading or participating in IT Workplace projects, technical improvements, and special tasks,
Training and support of our 1st level technicians for more complex Workplace subjects,
Carrying out maintenance tasks as well as IT asset management and technical documentation.
Your background and expertise
Completed training as an informaticien(-ne) CFC or equivalent qualification,
At least 3 years of professional experience in a comparable function,
Solid knowledge of the Microsoft Workplace environment, notably Active Directory and group policies (GPO),
Ideally, experience with IGEL / Thin Client environments and client management solutions,
Proficiency in French and good knowledge of English allowing for easy communication. Knowledge of German is an asset,
Service-oriented, analytical, and solution-focused person, who likes to take responsibilities and solve technical challenges sustainably,
