YOUR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

• Development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the company's environmental strategy
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant environmental laws, regulations, and internal standards
• Support and further development of the environmental management system (e.g., ISO 14001)
• Planning and implementation of measures to reduce environmental impact as well as to improve sustainability performance
• Conducting environmental analyses, audits, and risk assessments
• Collection, evaluation, and reporting of environmental key figures (energy, emissions, waste, water, etc.)
• Support of projects regarding environmental and sustainability requirements
• Contact person for authorities, certification bodies, and internal stakeholders
• Raising awareness and training of managers and employees in environmental and sustainability topics
• Participation in ESG, sustainability, and decarbonization projects

YOUR PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

• Completed studies in the field of environmental sciences, environmental engineering, sustainability management, or comparable training
• Professional experience in environmental management of an industrial, production, or service company
• Sound knowledge of relevant environmental legislation as well as the standards ISO 14001 and ideally ISO 50001
• Experience in project management and in the implementation of improvement measures
• Analytical and structured way of working as well as a strong sense of responsibility
• Strong-communication personality with assertiveness
• Independent, solution-oriented, and pragmatic way of working
• Very good German and good English skills in speaking and writing
• Proficient use of MS Office as well as experience with environmental and reporting tools is an advantage
