With its approximately 200 employees, the centralized AMAG Informatik in Cham ZG is responsible for the entire IT value chain for all group divisions, from projects through development and integration to operation and support.

To strengthen our Enterprise Network Team, which is responsible for the planning, development, implementation, and maintenance of all network and firewall infrastructures, we are looking for a technically competent and humorous personality as a Senior Network Engineer (m/f/d).

• Innovation: You conduct active innovation management for the network architecture landscape and drive its continuous further development and optimization

Evaluation: You check, evaluate, and maintain new technologies and solutions in the area of Enterprise & Data Center Networking

• Implementation: You evaluate, implement, and document new network solutions and ensure their successful introduction
• Troubleshooting: As a contact person in 3rd level support, you analyze malfunctions and error states and implement suitable measures for sustainable rectification
• Project management: From planning and procurement of offers to the creation of project proposals, you take over the management of infrastructure and network projects

What you bring with you ##

• Experience: Several years of professional experience in the field of network engineering with sound knowledge of complex network environments
• Education: Completed IT training as well as subject-specific further training such as CCNP/CCIE Enterprise, TOGAF, SAFe or comparable qualifications are an advantage
• Know-how: Very good knowledge of Cisco technologies, in particular Cisco Catalyst 9800 WLAN Controller, Cisco ACI & Nexus Switches, Cisco Catalyst SD-WAN as well as Cisco SDA
• Methodology: Experience in agile IT organizations, ideally according to SAFe, as well as knowledge of architecture, innovation, and infrastructure topics
• Language skills: You have excellent German skills as well as good English skills in speaking and writing
• Personality: You are an open-minded and goal-oriented personality who can convince with much enthusiasm and ambition. Thanks to your target-group-oriented communication, you succeed in communicating complex problems in a targeted manner
