Verification Engineer - GMP / Calibration / Qualification / Laboratory Equipment / SAP

Background: We are looking for a Verification Engineer in the Lab Support and Compliance 2 section. The section supports the laboratories as well as many internal and external partners contributing to the development of large molecules, with activities regarding calibration, maintenance, qualification, and upkeep of laboratory equipment and facilities including monitoring of infrastructure (cold rooms etc.).

The perfect candidate: brings experience in the calibration, maintenance, qualification, and upkeep of laboratory equipment and facilities.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Management of testing equipment and device calibrations: planning, organization, testing, evaluation, documentation, and archiving of calibrations
• Lifecycle management for testing equipment, devices, and systems
• Qualification of laboratory equipment
• Management of all required Veeva documents
• Support of the monitoring system for online room monitoring (GMP laboratories)
• GMP Compliance (process and documentation management)
• Mybuy orders for service orders
• Device custodian for climate cabinets / refrigerators
• Deviation management: processing of deviations and changes as owner and / or SME

Must Haves:

• Training as a laboratory technician, Bachelor or Master in a technical or chemical field
• Min. 5 years of professional experience in qualification, calibration of laboratory equipment in a regulated environment
• Experience in the pharmaceutical industry, strong GMP understanding
• Experience in Change Management
• Fluent German and English skills
• Digital skills, affinity for databases, affinity for technology
• Accurate and structured way of working and high attention to detail.
• IT skills: standard software, databases for device maintenance are an advantage (SAP)
• Flexibility, setting priorities and delivering reliably even under pressure
• Team player, high interpersonal skills
• Independent way of working and openness to learning new things
• Good organizational skills
