Establishment employing approximately 450 female and male employees to ensure the specialized schooling of 27 children and adolescents as well as the socio-educational and socio-professional support of 127 adults presenting an intellectual disability is looking for

Your mission :

In the context of specialized reception for young adults with ASD in complex situations, your mission will be to ensure 1-on-1 support within a multidisciplinary team in the Païdeïa transition microstructure.

As part of your duties, you will be required to :

• Participate in learning processes and help in the various acts of daily life of the beneficiaries
• Elaborate personalized projects based on shared observations and prior skill evaluations of the beneficiaries
• Lead educational mediations such as pastry making, cooking, walking, swimming, cycling, tandem, and others.
• Contribute to the life and activity of a residential place (Élan) and a day center (Kaïros), the two places that compose Païdeïa.
• Develop your skills in connection with the mission and then transmit them.

We wish for :

• A diploma of CFC, ES, or HES level in the socio-educational field or deemed equivalent (valid SEFRI recognition)
• Confirmed experience in the support of persons presenting an intellectual disability or psychic disorders, an asset
• Experience and/or interest in investing in the elaboration and realization of personalized projects, focused on important multidisciplinary collaboration, both internally within the institution and with network partners, notably the teams of the Section de Psychiatrie du Développement Mental (SPDM - CHUV)
• Skills in ASD (autism spectrum disorder) support and a willingness to learn and develop skills in this field
• Availability, punctuality, adaptability, patience, empathy, and a high sense of responsibility
• A reassuring, calm attitude and a good aptitude for managing stressful moments
• Resistance to stress related to crisis management and behavioral disorders
• Good knowledge of usual IT tools
• A good command of written and spoken French
• A driver's license
• A clean criminal record
