In this versatile role, you support management and sites with in-depth analyses, develop reporting and management tools, and contribute to sustainably improving transparency and decision quality within the organization. Your primary place of work is in Kaiseraugst, supplemented by occasional missions and exchanges at other sites, particularly in Regensdorf. ### Here's what you'll do... • Analysis of sales development as well as realization of margin, volume, and profitability analyses to support management and site decisions • Preparation, interpretation, and presentation of key indicators and relevant financial data to actively drive company performance • Participation in the monthly closing process and ensuring transparent and understandable representation of sales results • Development and optimization of reporting, forecasting, and controlling tools with a focus on efficiency, transparency, and relevance • Exchange partner for management, site managers, and specialized departments on economic and financial issues • Support for budget, forecast, and investment processes as well as realization of profitability analyses • Realization of ad-hoc analyses and management reports as a basis for decision-making on operational and strategic issues • Identification of optimization potential in processes and active participation in the implementation of improvement measures What you bring... • University degree with specialization in controlling, finance, or business administration • Several years of professional experience in controlling or a comparable function • Very good understanding of economic contexts and key indicators • Analytical, structured, and at the same time pragmatic working method • Great personal initiative as well as pleasure in actively driving topics forward and taking on responsibilities • Assured presence and excellent communication skills in exchanges with different stakeholders • Availability for occasional travel between Kaiseraugst and Regensdorf sites • Experience in developing reporting and controlling processes is an advantage • Interest in industrial processes and operational business models • Very good Excel skills as well as experience with ERP and BI systems (SAP is an advantage) Your benefits: • With your work, you actively contribute to environmental protection and resource conservation • A lot of freedom, autonomy, and responsibility in your tasks • Stability and secure employment • Flat hierarchies and simple decision-making processes • Family-like company culture: with us, you're not just a number • At least 25 days of vacation / 30 days from the 11th year of service or from 50 years old • Thommen Academy (internal training and development opportunities for our employees) • Good social benefits (above-average salary maintenance in case of accident and illness, pension fund without loss risk) The right decision: working at Thommen Group Thommen Group is one of the leading European recycling companies with roots in Switzerland.
