Building IT Specialist oriented towards automation CFC (M/F)

YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Ensure the installation, programming, commissioning, optimization, and maintenance of home automation, building automation, and building management system (BMS) solutions for professional and private clients.

YOUR MAIN MISSIONS

• Program, parameterize, test, and optimize KNX installations and other automation systems for residential, tertiary, and industrial clients
• Perform the commissioning, adaptations, and extensions of existing installations
• Diagnose and resolve malfunctions related to home automation systems, connected equipment, communication networks, and building technical infrastructures
• Provide technical support and accompany clients in the operation and evolution of their intelligent installations
• Participate in the integration and configuration of complementary solutions such as video surveillance, security systems, computer networks, and communication solutions
• Document installations and maintain up-to-date diagrams, programs, execution files, and technical procedures
• Collaborate with project managers, installation teams, and external partners to guarantee technical quality and respect for deadlines
• Participate in the technical analysis of customer needs, the development of solutions, and the monitoring of files throughout the project life cycle
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of solutions, working methods, and the company's technical standards

YOUR PROFILE

• You hold a CFC as a telematics technician, building IT specialist, automation technician, or electrical installer
• You have several years of experience in electricity, building automation, control techniques, or smart home solutions
• You have solid knowledge in home automation and building automation and a real interest in connected technologies and innovations in the sector
• You have good knowledge of computer networks and understand the challenges related to the integration of communicating systems
• You can justify confirmed experience with KNX and building management solutions
• KNX Basic certification is required, Advanced is an asset
• You are comfortable in fault finding, analyzing technical problems, and implementing solutions
• Customer-oriented, you demonstrate an excellent sense of service, good interpersonal skills, and enjoy teamwork
• You work in an autonomous, structured, and rigorous manner, while knowing how to manage your priorities effectively

These skills constitute an advantage:

• Experience with LOXONE automation and home automation solutions
• Experience with video surveillance solutions such as AXIS or Mobotix
• Knowledge of AJAX or JABLOTRON security systems
• Knowledge of Modbus, M-Bus, BACnet, and OPC-UA protocols
• Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (Modbus, M-Bus, BACnet, and OPC-UA), an asset
• Knowledge of programmable logic controllers
