Zürcher Kantonalbank's Private Banking is specialized in providing tailored solutions for high-net-worth private clients domestically and abroad, family offices, foundations, and external asset managers. In an environment with demanding regulatory requirements, you make a central contribution to a stable and sustainable business model. The Business Risk Management team is responsible for the active management of non-financial risks as part of the 1st Line of Defense of Private Banking. You work closely with sales as well as with specialists and contribute your know-how to risk-relevant decisions and the development of concepts. In this way, your commitment significantly shapes the further development of risk management in Private Banking.

Your tasks

• Developing and implementing risk management for compliance topics (and other non-financial risks) in Private Banking
• Identifying, assessing, and managing compliance risks, as well as deriving and tracking measures
• Describing, planning, performing, and documenting controls within the scope of the BRM mandate, as well as ensuring an effective control environment
• Advising sales and other stakeholders on risk-relevant questions and promoting a strong risk culture
• Analyzing and processing risk events, deriving sustainable mitigation measures including the preparation of learnings and recommendations
• Representing the Private Banking business unit in selected projects, working groups, and committees on compliance topics
• Close cooperation with Compliance, Operational Risk, process owners, Data Analytics, and other interfaces

Your profile

• Completed studies at (specialist) college or university level, ideally in economics, law, or a related field
• Further training in the field of Compliance/Non-Financial Risk Management
• Several years of sound practical experience in dealing with VSB, KYC, and GwG topics, preferably in Private Banking or in an auditing firm with a focus in this area
• Know-how in sales, processes, and risks, as well as familiarity with regulatory requirements in the banking environment
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills as well as experience in setting up and optimizing risk and control frameworks
• High affinity for data and technologies as well as the ability to use them purposefully for analyses and decisions in risk management
• You convince with a structured, independent way of working, high quality standards, and enjoyment of cross-departmental cooperation
• Very good German skills in speaking and writing; other language skills, especially French and English, are an advantage
