Train Steward / Train Stewardess Interlaken

As a catering company in national and international railway gastronomy with around 700 employees, we pamper our guests daily in the rolling restaurant with sympathetic service and Swiss specialties. What you can make happen:

• You are in charge as a host in your dining car! Personal responsibility and autonomy are not just empty words to us. You manage your train restaurant independently.
• You serve refreshing drinks and varied dishes made from seasonal Swiss products.
• You prepare the food and arrange it attractively. With your enthusiasm for gastronomy, you infect your guests, ensure a pleasant atmosphere on board and keep an eye on your guests' time management.
• You are responsible for the daily cash closure as well as for the inventory and order reports to our logistics.
• You will certainly have quieter times in between to "take a breather". However, there is often a lot going on, your talent for improvisation is required and time flies – or rather, the train flies.
• You implement the specified occupational safety and hygiene guidelines.

What you bring with you:

• You are a cheerful person and a host with heart.
• You bring experience from the service sector, preferably gastronomy.
• You are flexible in terms of time (early, late and weekend shifts) and have a short commuting distance to your place of work.
• You have good oral language skills (of your place of work), other national languages or English would be great.
• You are healthy, physically fit for the strenuous work in the moving train and value looking good.
• Your debt enforcement and criminal registers contain no unusual entries.

What we offer:

• 7 days of basic training and a job-related further education budget of 500.- per year.

• At least 5 weeks of vacation and at least one rest Sunday per month guaranteed.
• 13 monthly salaries as well as guaranteed annual salary increases.
• Zimmerstunde? We don't know that. Your working day ends earlier than in classic gastronomy.
