IT Architect Datacenter Infrastructure (w/m/d)

In your mission, you will thrive with:

• Creation of holistic concepts for the further development, modernization, and migration of datacenter infrastructures at our customers, including technical and economic evaluation of existing datacenter architectures
• Central contact person for conceptual questions regarding the core areas of server, storage, backup, virtualization, and containerization based on our strategic manufacturers
• Responsible and solution-oriented development of blueprints and best practices, as well as architecture lead for complex solutions from several technology areas (for example, hybrid cloud approaches)
• Determination of recommendations for action and development of implementation plans for the implementation and operating phases within our customer projects
• Support of sales in customer consulting on the latest trends and technologies, as well as within the framework of offer creation
• Conducting customer workshops and presentations
• Evaluating new technical solutions and developing sales documentation
• Active participation as an expert in our communities and in the Product Portfolio Board

Your skills? More than interesting:

• Higher vocational education in computer science or equivalent training
• Expertise in the conceptualization of datacenter architectures with experience in pre-sales and/or consulting
• Knowledge of the service offerings of the relevant hardware, software, and cloud providers (HPE, Lenovo, DELL, VMware, Citrix, Microsoft, AWS, Google GCP)
• Confident appearance with decision-makers, specialist departments, and IT specialists within the framework of workshops and presentations
• Enjoyment in presenting and moderating workshops
• High interest in new technologies and constant further training
• Proficient German skills in spoken and written form as well as good English skills
