Our team of around 25 employees takes care of everything that keeps Baar lively and functional: This includes the municipal roads and paths, the play and sports facilities, the green spaces and parks, the sewage system and the winter service. In road maintenance, we ensure every day that Baar remains safe, well-maintained and livable. Whether on roads, squares or paths - together we roll up our sleeves and actively help shape the local landscape. January 2027 or by arrangement a Road Maintenance Employee Workload 80 – 100 % What you can achieve Maintenance and care of the municipal road, footpath and hiking trail network. Execution of minor construction, repair and maintenance work on municipal facilities and properties. Safe and efficient driving and operation of modern municipal machines, vehicles and work equipment. Support of the municipal services team with versatile tasks for the benefit of a well-maintained and functioning local landscape. Setup of signage and support with traffic diversions for construction sites, events and special occurrences. Assignments in winter service and on-call readiness for a safe traffic space. Support in summer on-call service and assistance during extraordinary events and assignments. Support, preparation and implementation of municipal events, if necessary also outside of regular working hours. What you bring with you Completed vocational training as a road construction worker, specialist in facility management/municipal services, gardener, forestry worker, farmer or in a related manual occupational field.
