Within Abbott's Established Pharmaceuticals Division (EPD), we are looking for a Senior Manager in health economics and outcomes research to shape global initiatives with real impact. About the role Join us as Global Senior Manager HEOR & Evidence for Payers and help shape access to life-changing therapies in oncology and immunology. Reporting to the Global Director, HEOR, you will lead strategic and operational initiatives across emerging markets (Latin America, Middle East, Asia-Pacific, China, Russia, India, and Africa). Your work will directly influence access and affordability for patients, ensuring that innovative treatments reach those who need them most. What you will do • Lead with purpose: Oversee HEOR projects with external partners, ensuring scientific rigor and adherence to deadlines. • Empower teams globally: Co-create HEOR plans at the country level and mentor local professionals to develop their skills. • Drive innovation: Adapt economic models and guide real-world evidence (RWE) studies to meet diverse market needs. • Communicate impact: Translate complex data into clear and compelling value stories for HTA submissions and payer negotiations. • Collaborate across cultures: Work with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders to strengthen global access strategies. • Promote visibility: Lead publication planning and represent HEOR at international congresses. About you • More than 8 years of experience in the biotech, pharmaceutical, or healthcare sector (including consulting) with a strong focus on health economics, market access, or related functions/fields • Experience in multiple global regions, particularly emerging markets • In-depth knowledge of healthcare systems and evolving trends in key HTA countries and emerging countries • Strong knowledge of health economic modeling and real-world evidence (RWE). • Proven leadership in cross-functional or transnational initiatives. • Advanced degree (MSc, PhD, PharmD, MPH) in health economics, public health, epidemiology, or a related field. • Experience in oncology and/or immunology preferred. • Passion for improving access and affordability for patients.
