The Berghaus Nagens, located at 2'127 meters above sea level in the LAAX ski resort, is one of the largest mountain houses in the Swiss Alps. With its cozy and rustic ambiance, a hostel with 82 beds, 560 indoor and 700 terrace seats, a café and evening bar, as well as a team of 45 employees, we offer our guests a unique mountain experience.
In the integrated Freeride Base, we place special emphasis on an innovative plant-based cuisine that delights our guests with vegan and vegetarian dishes as well as a varied salad buffet.

What you move

• You ensure that dishes, cutlery, glasses and kitchen utensils are clean and ready for use again quickly
• You operate and maintain the dishwashers and ensure a smooth process in the dishwashing area
• You keep your work area clean and tidy and support general cleaning work in the kitchen
• You ensure the professional disposal and separation of waste
• You consistently adhere to our hygiene, quality and safety standards
• You support the kitchen team as needed and lend a hand where help is currently required
• Even during peak times, you work efficiently, carefully and maintain an overview

What defines you

• Ideally, you bring initial experience in a dishwashing area, gastronomy or a similar activity - career changers are also welcome
• You work cleanly, reliably and carefully
• You are physically resilient and like to roll up your sleeves
• You are flexible and ready to work on weekends and public holidays as well
• You are a team player and mutual support is a matter of course for you
• You have German skills/English skills; further languages are an advantage
• You keep a cool head and a positive attitude even in hectic situations
