To ensure our brand continues to inspire in the future, we are looking for a personality who will strategically develop our marketing while also enjoying rolling up their sleeves. As Head of Marketing / Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), you will take responsibility for the further development and implementation of our marketing strategy in the B2B and B2C sectors and ensure a consistent positioning of our brand across markets and touchpoints.

Your role
As CMO, you are a strategic head, team leader, and doer at the same time. You:

• further develop our marketing strategy and derive clear priorities and measures from it for B2B and B2C
• lead, coach, and develop our marketing team and manage external agencies and partners
• are responsible, together with the management, for the marketing budget, forecasting, impact control, and coordinate integrated marketing planning
• are responsible for content and editorial planning as well as a consistent brand story across all relevant channels
• manage product and series launches together with development, sales, and marketing
• continuously further develop our Customer Journey
• plan dealer, customer, and brand events and measure their success
• strategically further develop partnerships, sponsoring, testimonials, and influencer marketing
• strengthen our national and international media presence and coordinate our PR activities

Marketing meets AI
AI should not just be another tool for us. You will actively help shape how we use AI meaningfully in our marketing. In doing so, you will build a reliable marketing database and a sensible KPI framework so that we can make decisions increasingly based on data and continuously improve our marketing activities.

Who we are looking for
We are not looking for a person who only manages marketing. We are looking for a personality who wants to shape things. You bring:

• experience in marketing, brand management, and integrated communication
• leadership experience and enjoyment in developing a team
• strategic thinking combined with a strong hands-on mentality
• experience with campaigns, budgets, KPIs, and marketing data
• practical experience with generative AI and AI-supported marketing workflows
• a strong sense for premium brands, design, aesthetics, and customer experience
• a confident appearance as well as strong communication and negotiation skills
• a structured, proactive, and pragmatic way of working
• excellent German and very good English skills

Professionally, ideally, you have a degree or comparable training and further education in marketing, communication, digital marketing, or business administration and already have professional experience in a comparable position -- preferably in an internationally oriented SME. Knowledge in areas such as online marketing, e-commerce, SEO/SEA, CRM, Google Ads/Analytics, Meta Business Suite, WordPress, or Adobe Creative Cloud is an advantage.
